PandaFunk, DJing, Family, Deorro Keeps His Hands Full
At Miami Music Week 2016, Florida Chapter had a chance to hear from Deorro about his challenges balancing the life of a DJ on the road with the needs of his family at home. While being a record executive at PandaFunk requires less travel, that and developing emerging artists requires travel too. Growing up in Los Angeles, the name he first made for himself was TON!C but that was cut short when GRAMMY nominees Tonic served him with cease-and-desist papers. Through it all, he keeps working, keeps finding creative solutions such as inventing the name Deorro, and remains an exceptional DJ, in demand with a loyal following and exciting track record of charting singles.
