Summer is upon us, and now here's another musical wonder to look forward to: every two weeks, the Recording Academy will debut a new installment of ReImagined, a video series where artists bring a fresh take on classic GRAMMY-winning/nominated songs by their favorite artists—from the Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Rock Song, Best R&B Song and Best Rap Song categories.

To kick things off, Puerto Rican Caribbean soul duo COASTCITY tackle a modern classic, Childish Gambino's GRAMMY-winning hit "Redbone," which took home an award for Best Traditional R&B Performance at the 60th GRAMMY Awards.

Other upcoming ReImagined performances offer interpretations of songs by Lorde, Neil Young, Oasis, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga and Brandley Cooper and more, from artists such as Andrew Bird, Angela Aguilar, VINCINT, Asiahn, Shea Diamond, La Santa Cecilia and others.

Subscribe to our YouTube channel and visit our video page to watch each ReImagined episode, along with other exclusive content, as it's released.

15-year-old ranchera singer Ángela Aguilar grew up in the music industry, coming from a long lineage of powerful performers, including her father Pepe Aguilar. She has already grown into a big name herself, with a massive following (1.5 million followers on Instagram alone) but she's admitted that she'd still be star struck if she met Lady Gaga, of whom she's a big fan.

Now, with the latest episode of ReImagined, which you can watch below, Aguilar pays tribute to the pop queen, offering a moving one-woman cover of Gaga and Bradley Cooper's GRAMMY-winning hit "Shallow," from their Oscar-winning film A Star Is Born.

Aguilar may be as just as excited about this video as her many fans are. She first teased the performance last month during a news interview with TV Azteca, where she was very thrilled to have permission to offer her take on the emotional song.

"Shallow," released last fall as part of the A Star Is Born Soundtrack, was written by Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt. The song took home two wins at the 61st GRAMMY Awards earlier this year, for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written For Visual Media.

Also for the 61st GRAMMYs, Aguilar earned her first nomination, for Best Regional Mexican Music Album (Including Tejano) for her debut solo album, Primera Soy Mexicana. She also, along with Aida Cuevas and Natalia Lafourcade, stole the show during the GRAMMY Premiere Ceremony, with their rendition of the classic Spanish language song "La Llorna." Aguilar also earned her first Latin GRAMMY nominations in 2018, for Best New Artist and Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album.

In its 18th year, the festival will feature a wide range of artists performing around the clock across more than 10 stages. Festival organizers also promise an array of new features and improvements this year, including upgrades to the site's communal areas, known as Plazas, with free public WiFi, showers, charging stations, medical and safety stations, and more.

The festivities kick off On June 13 with Grand Ole Opry Featuring Special Guests. Friday, June 14 headliners include Phish, Childish Gambino, Solange, The Avett Brothers, Brockhampton, Courtney Barnett, Gojira, K.Flay and more. Saturday, June 15, will showcase Post Malone, Odesza, Hozier, Musgraves, The National, ZHU, John Prine, Maren Morris, and more, while Sunday, June 16 will see Phish return with two sets, plus The Lumineers, Cardi B, Carlile, Walk The Moon, Mac DeMarco, King Princess, The Wood Brothers, and many more.

Anticipation for the Coachella lineup seems to grow each year. Today, the wait is over, as the festival has revealed its long list of performers for the two weekend event April 12–14 and 19–21. The headliners alone are cause for celebration, with Childish Gambino, Tame Impala and Ariana Grande earning top-line billing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights respectively.

With over 160 artists, the lineup—arranged in Coachella's now-iconic colorful desert sky show poster—is heavy on buzz artists, inlcuding 2018 breakout superstars Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny, Ella Mai, and Best New Artist GRAMMY nominee H.E.R. The bill also features a host of once-in-a-generation artists hitting full stride such as Janelle Monáe, Kacey Musgraves, and Solange.

But the list is as deep as it is lofty, with something for everyone scattered across the lineup's lower lines. For instance, experimental funk/pop outfit U.S. Girls, indie/electro R&B artist Blood Orange and dance duo Sofi Tukker all promise to ensure the dessert is as varied as it is hot.

Back to the headliners: Childish Gambino, Friday's main event, is nominated five times over for the upcoming 61st GRAMMY Awards. Known for their entrancing live shows, Tame Impala returns to the Coachella stage for the first time since 2015 and the first time ever as a headliner. On Sunday, Grande will close the weekend with the next blast of her meteoric rise over the past year. Grande also marks the third consecutive solo female artist headline at Coachella following in the footsteps of Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.

The best part? You don't have to make the trek to Indio, Calif., to catch your favorite artist's set. Thanks to an expanded partnership with YouTube, Coachella will be live-streamed both weekends. This mark's YouTube's ninth year as the festival's exclusive live-streaming partner.

Tickets for Coachella go on sale Friday, Jan. 4 on the festival website, and YouTube subscribers will receive an access codes via email on Jan. 4 providing the opportunity to purchase tickets via a dedicated YouTube Music member cart. The countdown to Coachella 2019 has officially begun!
