Performers Added To GRAMMY Festival At Sea
A GRAMMY Chapter Stage has been added to enhance the experience of GRAMMY Festival at Sea: Women Who Rock, a four-day music festival at sea that will set sail Nov. 4–8 in conjunction with Norwegian Cruise Line — the official cruise line of The Recording Academy and the GRAMMY Awards — and produced by Sixthman, the industry leader in music festivals at sea. The GRAMMY Chapter Stage will spotlight emerging and established talent from each of The Recording Academy's 12 Chapter cities around the country, as well as feature panel discussions and workshops with participating artists and other music professionals.
Selected by The Academy's Chapters to represent their respective regions, artists on the GRAMMY Chapter Stage highlight a wealth of musically diverse styles, and reflect the "women who rock" theme. The lineup includes Sonia Leigh (Atlanta); Anne Harris (Chicago); Deering & Down (Memphis); Tayler Buono (Florida); Victoria Shaw (Nashville); Fly Moon Royalty (Pacific Northwest); Helen Bruner & Terry Jones (Philadelphia); Thao from Thao & The Get Down Stay Down (San Francisco); Erin Ivey (Texas); and Maimouna Youssef (Washington, D.C.), with Los Angeles and New York artists to be determined.
Previously announced GRAMMY Festival at Sea performers are Mindi Abair, Shawn Colvin, Estelle, Skylar Grey, Emmylou Harris, Heart, Indigo Girls, and Joan Osborne.
Sailing from Miami aboard the Norwegian Pearl, this inaugural GRAMMY Festival at Sea will offer guests the opportunity to celebrate GRAMMY-winning and/or -nominated women who rock, while sailing to Grand Bahama Island and Nassau, Bahamas.
