Nile Rodgers, Bulova Shine For Special 60th GRAMMY Awards Timepiece
On Jan. 12 Bulova and the Recording Academy announced a new limited-edition timepiece to debut on Jan. 27 at a special GRAMMY Week "Tune of Time" event — Saturday, the day before the 60th GRAMMY Awards — featuring a performance by three-time GRAMMY winner Nile Rodgers and Chic followed by an interview with Rodgers by GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Scott Goldman.
The multilayered tone of the timepiece's stainless steel case shines with the unique alloy GRAMMIUM created by John Billings, the man who makes the lustrous GRAMMY statues.
"We're thrilled to continue this extraordinary partnership with Bulova, and to commemorate our milestone anniversary with a special limited-edition timepiece that will be presented to all 60th GRAMMY winners," said Recording Academy Chief Marketing Officer Evan Greene.
