Nicki Minaj Cancels North American NickiHndrxx Tour With Future
After releasing Queen, her latest album, later than expected, GRAMMY-nominee Nicki Minaj was set to start the U.S. leg of her NickiHndrxx international tour in September, but now the rapper's touring plans have changed.
In a video, Minaj told her fans that due to a lack of rehearsal time, her U.S. tour would no longer begin Sept. 21, but May 2019. Due to the changes, GRAMMY-nominated rapper Future, who was set to be her co-headliner, could no longer join her on tour.
Due to the date changes, "I may have to take another co-headliner or I may just do it like I did the Pinkprint Tour and it wouldn't be like a co-headliner," Minaj said. " I probably will just have like three or four opening acts."
"This is all happening because I pushed my album back two months," she continued. "So now I just simply don't have time to rehearse and be on the road in time to give you guys the level of a show I need to give."

Minaj said she would begin the leg of her European tour first, go to Australia in January and begin U.S. shows in May. For now, Minaj will dedicate more time for rehearsals before the tour launches. Refunds for the previous U.S. dates will be available at point of purchase, according to Billboard.
