Morris Day Pays Tribute To His Friend Prince At "Let's Go Crazy: The GRAMMY Salute To Prince"
Morris Day, lead vocalist of the '80s pop-funk group The Time, is one of the many artists who worked with the late, great Prince during his lifetime. Not only did Prince co-found the Minneapolis project, but he co-wrote and produced their hit song "Jungle Love."
Now, you can get a sneak peek at lead vocalist Morris Day performing at the upcoming Let's Go Crazy: The GRAMMY Salute To Prince," which airs on Tuesday, April 21 on CBS and CBS All Access.
For Day, watching Prince's songs come to life again was an emotional experience. "To us, he was our friend but now that he's not here and we're seeing his body of work, the tribute to his body of work, it's emotional," he shared backstage next to Time bandmate Jerome Benton.
