Lady Gaga's Las Vegas Residency To Feature Two Different Shows
On Aug. 7 GRAMMY winner and soon to be movie star Lady Gaga released the details of her extended Las Vegas residency and the two very different shows she is planning. Hosted at the Park MGM, emerging from its previous Monte Carlo brand with a $500 million make-over, spectacular "Enigma" stagings begin late Dec. through early Feb., pick up again late May through mid-June, and conclude in Oct.–Nov. Interspersed in the first two blocks will be four "Jazz & Piano" performances — Jan. 20, Feb. 3, and June 2 & 9 — offering the tempting prospect of catching the two different shows back-to-back in special ticketing packages.
"I can't wait to share Enigma with all of my fans and with Las Vegas," said Gaga. "We're creating a show unlike anything I've done before. It will be a celebration of all that is unique and different within us. The challenges of bravery can be overcome with creativity and courage that is grown out of adversity."
The J&P performances will be "stripped down" and feature standards from the Great American Songbook. Notably Gaga shared a win for these at the 57th GRAMMY Awards with Tony Bennett, as their Cheek To Cheek won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. Her most recent album is 2016's Joanne, nominated at the 60th GRAMMY Awards for Best Pop Vocal Album. Her movie A Star Is Born with Bradley Cooper will open on Oct. 5.
With ticketing details on Lady Gaga's website, Little Monsters can qualify for first chances to buy tix in the pre-sale period from Aug. 8–12. On Aug. 13 tickets and VIP packages will open to the public.
