Demi Lovato Gets Personal In Upcoming Documentary
Following the release of her upcoming studio album, Tell Me You Love Me, on Sept. 29, Demi Lovato is set to release an intimate look at her life through the YouTube documentary series, "Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated."
The series will follow Lovato as she interacts with fans, performs onstage and goes behind-the-scenes of her personal life.
The GRAMMY nominee has hinted she may touch on her sexuality, which she has avoided speaking about. While she is an outspoken ally of the LGBTQ community and her 2015 hit "Cool For The Summer" expresses bi-curiosity, she asserts she wants most of the focus to be on her music as opposed to her personal life.
If you're that curious about my sexuality, watch my documentary. But I don't owe anybody anything.

"I just feel like everyone's always looking for a headline and they always want their magazine or TV show or whatever to be the one to break what my sexuality is," Lovato said. "I feel like it's irrelevant to what my music is all about. I stand up for the things that I believe in and the things that I'm passionate about, but I like to keep my personal life as private as possible when it comes to dating and sexuality and all that stuff just because it has nothing to do with my music."
