BTS' Big Week: The K-Pop Kings Unveil New Album, Video Feat. Halsey & More
BTS, arguably the most talked-about boy band of 2019, have dropped their latest album, Map Of The Soul: Persona, and they've done it with a bang. The K-pop kings have released the long-awaited album along with a music video to their single "Boy With Luv" featuring GRAMMY-nominated singer Halsey, a collaboration which continues their mark on U.S. pop culture.
A bilingual song about infatuation, "Boy With Luv" now has more than 30 million views. The video features J-Hope, Jin, V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga and RM dressed in different shades of pink showing off their latest dance moves along with a pink-haired Halsey, who tweeted about her positive experience on set.

"I wasn’t nervous about that! I was nervous cause I’ve never done choreo in a video before! But they were so awesome haha they made me so comfy and gassed me up," she tweeted. Halsey has been a friend of the group since they met in 2017. "We have been friends for almost 2 years! I am so lucky to know them and they inspire me so much. your boys are A+," she posted on Twitter in 2018.
The song was recorded in Seoul, the band's hometown in South Korea, they told Spotify. The release comes one day before the superstars are set to appear as the musical guests on "Saturday Night Live." Emma Stone, host of the April 13 episode, is another BTS fan.
"I just saw their soundcheck today and I involuntarily screamed," she said on the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday. "I'm actually not kidding ... It was like 'AAAHHH!!!' It was like a chemical reaction that happens. They're incredible."
But it was the BTS Army that showed the most love to the group with a #PERSONAWelcomeParty hashtag trending on Twitter.
