The Biggest Night in Latin Music is looking brighter than ever as the Latin GRAMMYs prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary. So much so, the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences' logo has gone from red to platinum to commemorate the big event, but before the Latin GRAMMYs can officially cheers to two decades of celebrating notable artists in Spanish-language music, first comes first: the nominations.
It might not come as a surprise that Spanish global pop superstar Rosalía is among the most nominated, as she finishes off a year in which El Mal Querer, her sophomore album with lead single "Malamente," took the world by storm with its flamenco, R&B infused tracks. Alejandro Sanz, another well-known Spanish pop star, Mexican alt-Latino singer Ximena Sariñana and Colombian singer-songwriter Fonseca are other names you'll spot in multiple categories.
