Amy Grant: Carole King's Influence

GRAMMY winner Amy Grant discussed the dynamic career of Carole King and her influence on fellow artists in an interview during rehearsals for the MusiCares Person of the Year gala on Jan. 23 in Los Angeles. Grant also discussed her upcoming performance at the gala and how MusiCares' services have positively impacted her friends, among other topics.

King will be honored as the 2014 MusiCares Person of the Year on Jan. 24 at a special tribute concert and dinner, recognizing her accomplishments as an artist and humanitarian. A star-studded lineup will perform in tribute to King, including Sara Bareilles, Louise Goffin, Grant, Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Miguel, Pink, James Taylor, Steven Tyler, and will.i.am, among others.
