The Ryman. The Bluebird Cafe. The Grand Ole Opry. Points on a map that all stem from Music Row, the artery that pumps out music that finds its roots in Music City to a global audience.

Nashville is a songwriter's town. Every great record starts with a story and a story that everyone finds relatable. But Nashville is a city not only defined by its country roots. A thriving community that is home to Kings Of Leon, Sheryl Crow, Jack White, the Black Keys, Paramore, Gavin DeGraw, and Kesha. Nashville is a destination for artists to record from Bon Jovi to Robert Plant to Lana Del Rey.

Founded five decades ago as the Academy's fourth Chapter, the Nashville Chapter has become an institution in the Nashville music community. Best known for its annual Block Party held each spring, the Chapter provides events for its members that focus on every genre and every aspect of the creative process. Nashville's technical community involved in recording, mixing and mastering have helped create industry standards for deliverables that have been adopted around the world.

Please take a few minutes and explore not only what the Nashville Chapter is doing, but what all the Chapters have to offer in the way of professional development and opportunities for our members.
