This year, the Upstream Summit will be a one-day music industry summit for music industry professionals and artists. This year we are thrilled to host this year’s event at the Oakland Museum of California’s Blue Oak Café, with special access to the RESPECT: Hip Hop Style & Wisdom exhibit. Join us for a look at the evolution of this global phenomenon, which includes a spotlight on Oakland and the San Francisco Bay Area’s influence on hip-hop culture as we mix with our members and special guests on May 9. The presentation will cover:

• Important upcoming dates and deadlines
• Explanation of eligibility for submitted product
• How to submit product for GRAMMY consideration
• Step-by-step narrative of what each submission goes through once it has been submitted into the awards process
• What's new for the 61st GRAMMY Awards
