The Recording Academy Texas Chapter invites you to join us for an evening gala on July 18, 2019, that brings together members and music industry supporters to celebrate our 25th anniversary as a Chapter. With a red carpet arrival, cocktail hour, and a seated dinner with friends, we’ll recognize 25 years of serving our community and invite artists to take the stage to represent the many genres, GRAMMY nominations and wins that hail from our Chapter.
They say everything is big in Texas and nothing is bigger in the Recording Academy than the area the Texas Chapter covers. Including the entire state of Texas, our Chapter also encompasses members in Oklahoma and Mexico. The diverse ethnic heritage of our Chapter brought to music an array of rhythms, instruments and musical styles that have helped shape this industry and the world in which it thrives.
Founded in 1994, the Texas Chapter encompasses members from across all music genres and fields in the region. We serve our members by delivering programs that advocate for creators at the state and national level, foster community in the industry, create opportunities for the next generation of music professionals, and more. The Chapter is dedicated to ensuring music remains an indelible part of our culture. Needless to say, Texas is a big Chapter doing even bigger things.
We invite you to join us for this important milestone!
Recording Academy members and invited members of the community may purchase tickets for themselves and their guests. Full details with ability to purchase tickets will be emailed in mid-May. Tickets are $150 per person for members and their guests.
