Who ever said the King of Rock and Roll was dead? Well, while he technically is, fans of the jailhouse rocker should get ready for a resurrection of sorts: Elvis Presley is entering the world of holograms. Following the virtual hologram of the late rapper Tupac Shakur that was revealed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April, Digital Domain Media Group has announced plans to bring Presley back to life virtually. "We are looking to develop several versions of Elvis," Ed Ulbrich, Digital Domain chief creative officer, told the Los Angeles Times. "We are creating original and exclusive brand-new performances by Elvis Presley that no one has ever seen before." While the company spent four months creating the Tupac hologram, a timetable was not provided for the King's hologram since every detail will need to be perfectly authentic. "The world will be watching, and there is no tolerable margin of error," said Ulbrich. We're guessing there are a lot of Elvis impersonators who are all shook up at this news.

It's no secret how extensive cross-country touring can wear on a band's livelihood and patience. The trials of touring can sometimes be too much to bear, even forcing a band to cancel the entire remainder of their tour, like Kings Of Leon did in 2011. But if it's true that gain doesn't come without pain, the Melvins are setting themselves up for what could potentially be a painful nearly two-month tour across the United States. But they have a lot to gain if a Guinness World Record means anything. The band is attempting to break a Guinness World Record for the fastest tour in the United States with 51 shows scheduled across all 50 states in 51 days. The band kicks off their record-breaking tour attempt Sept. 5 in Anchorage, Alaska, and end in Honolulu on Oct. 25, but not before they play the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles the day prior. Maybe the Melvins should consider touring via hologram.

Given the rising temperature in the desert, showing a little skin in Las Vegas is en vogue this time of year. That's why it's only fitting that participants in the first-ever Nudist Clubhouse Expo took it all off for a get-together at Kiss by Monster Mini Golf in Las Vegas on June 1. The nudists partied down for two hours as they attempted to knock their balls into the holes on the course, one of which includes a monster-sized Gene Simmons' tongue. The group also took part in a "vow-renewal group nude wedding ceremony." According to an official posting on Kiss' Facebook page, the event was a "blast" for all involved and plans are already underway for next year's event. It seems a naked return in this case is par for the course.

If you're hearing wedding bells and Billy Ray Cyrus softly humming the chorus to "Achy Breaky Heart," it's because Cyrus' daughter, Miley Cyrus, has announced she's engaged. The singer/actress is set to marry Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth, but according to a report, father Billy is hoping for a long engagement due to the couple's young age — Miley is 19 and Hemsworth is 22. But Miley couldn't seem happier. "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," she told People. We're betting she's also happy with the 3.5 carat diamond engagement ring Hensworth put on her finger. While plans for the wedding are underway, details on whether Hannah Montana will serve as the maid of honor were not revealed.

Remember earlier this year when we reported that actress Kate Winslet feels like "throwing up" every time she hears the theme song to Titanic? Well, it seems the voice of the song, Celine Dion, sympathizes with her. "If I could just count how many times I've sung ['My Heart Will Go On'], maybe it'll get me sick," Dion said on the "Today" show. "If [Kate Winslet] feels tired just hearing it and like throwing up, I'm glad she was not the one singing it." Fortunately, it seems Dion is taking Winslet's comments all in stride. This could have been one titanic cat fight.

Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" featuring Kimbra is tops on the Billboard Hot 100 and Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" is No. 1 on the iTunes singles chart.
