McCartney: Please, Please No Meat
With the holidays quickly approaching, foodies everywhere are likely planning their Thanksgiving menus, complete with stuffing, pumpkin pie and, of course, plenty of turkey. But Sir Paul McCartney has a message for carnivores everywhere: "Celebrate life this holiday season, go vegetarian." In a recent anti-turkey holiday message in conjunction with animal rights organization PETA, McCartney appeared wearing a T-shirt displaying the words "eat no" and a turkey, and insisted that "if slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be vegetarian." What will Macca eat this holiday season? He's skipping the wings for a nice vegetarian roast.
