Sammy Hagar & The Circle To Perform At Rockin’ Fore The Kids At The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame
Sammy Hagar, also known as the Red Rocker, will perform alongside his supergroup the Circle at Rockin’ Fore the Kids, a charity event raising money for MusiCares, Akron’s Children’s Hospital's cancer treatment and Cleveland food banks, at Cleveland’s Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, Rolling Stone reports.
The performance will be the former Van Halen frontman and the band's first since COVID-19 ceased all live music events. The Ohio Weather Band, Brother Trouble, Ira Dean and others will also make appearances at the event on Sept. 18.
Fore the Kids, being organized by LOPen Charity Events and the Mawaka Foundation, will reportedly follow COVID-19 guidelines. It is also reported that the event will include a celebrity golf tournament and a silent auction.
Sammy Hagar and the Circle, comprised of Jason Bonham, Michael Anthony and Vic Johnson, have pivoted to performing via livestreams called #CircleAtHomeSessions and have announced another livestream coming soon. No date has been released yet.
