Fruit Bats, Broken Social Scene, The Quebe Sisters & More: This Week On Pickathon's A Concert A Day Benefitting MusiCares
Pickathon's A Concert A Day keeps the music coming with another week of concert streams to benefit the MusiCares COVID-19 Releif Fund. Week 7 includes shows from Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, A Giant Dog, Fruit Bats, Ron Artis II, The Quebe Sisters, Altin Gün, and Broken Social Scene.
“We asked [Pickathon] if we could do it,” said Broken Social Scene bandleader Kevin Drew. “We’d heard about it for years…Anything that just promotes music for the sake of music, family, local establishments, volunteers, all those things, that’s music for the sake of music. And we don’t get to play those all the time. So it’s an honor...We’re all in this together.”
