Billie Eilish, Robert Plant, Barbara Streisand, Cher & More Donate Auction Items To Support MusiCares
MusiCares has teamed up with Julien's Auctions to launch a new round of one-of-a-kind item auction to benefit the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund. Fans and supporters can bid on items from artists including Billie Eilish, Barbra Streisand, Blake Shelton, the Killers' Brandon Flowers, Cher, Depeche Mode, Hans Zimmer, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Robert Plant, Tony Iommi, Willie Nelson and more starting on Sept. 9.
"In this new world of social distancing and isolation, music and the arts has brought us together and given us hope and salvation from the despair and loss that we’ve all felt these last months," Darren Julien, President/Chief Executive Officer of Julien’s Auctions said in a statement.
The full list of items is still to come, but Plant has teased that he'll be auctioning a guitar he's practiced on in his bedroom for 55 years.
"We thank Bill Wyman for his generous offering and are calling on all artists from film, music, sports, fashion and more to look into their closets and archives and donate an iconic item or two to this urgent initiative," Julien added.
The auction will be held in Beverly Hills and online here.
