The D.C. Chapter and MusiCares will continue their collaborative series with an educational vocal health seminar. Featuring Dr. Susan Miller and other vocal health experts, the seminar will provide advice and instruction on how to maximize vocal potential while minimizing vocal damage. Exploring the importance of understanding one's voice as an instrument, and its continued maintenance, this interactive session will provide attendees with practical applications and specific exercises and techniques for optimum vocal health.

Marty Stuart, in conjunction with the CMA Music Festival, will host the fifth annual Late Night Jam at the Ryman Auditorium on June 7. Performers include Marty Stuart And His Fabulous Superlatives, Connie Smith, Travis Tritt, Kathy Mattea, Jim Brock, Don Chambers And GOAT, John Stone, the Legendary Shack Shaker and Fairfield Four. Past performers include Montgomery Gentry, Kentucky Headhunters, Wynonna, Keith Urban, Jerry Lee Lewis and Earl Scruggs.
Marty Stuart, the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Buddy Lee Attractions Inc. have generously donated more than $50,000 in proceeds from this event to MusiCares over the past four years.

For the 8th consecutive year, MusiCares will be the beneficiary of the opening night charity event of the Countrywide Classic tennis tournament. The Gibson/Baldwin Night at the Net teams top tennis stars including Lleyton Hewitt and Marat Safin with celebrities and provides an exciting evening of sports, music, entertainment and charity. Special musical guests include Verve recording artist Mindi Abair and GRAMMY Award winner Brian McKnight.

This year KEXP's longest running local music show is out in the community more than ever. Every month Audioasis will broadcast live from the High Dive in Fremont, Wash., and every month proceeds will benefit a different local charity. This month, KEXP is featuring MusiCares.
The live broadcast is presented by Loveless Records and the High Dive and will be hosted by John Richards, Lisa Wood, Abe Beeson and Sean Nelson with on-air performances by Graig Markel/Zera Marvel and Heather Duby.
The benefit will also feature performances by Boat, Panda & Angel and the Turn-Ons.
