In advance of the nationwide screenings of God Bless Ozzy Osbourne, on Aug. 22 producer/filmmaker Jack Osbourne and Eagle Rock Entertainment will host a special private preview of the documentary benefitting the MusiCares MAP Fund at the ArcLight Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, Calif. Exclusive ticket packages will be sold in an online auction from Aug. 15–19 at www.charitybuzz.com, with proceeds benefitting the MusiCares MAP Fund, which provides access to addiction recovery treatment and sober living resources for members of the music community.

MusiCares, Smile Programs… The Mobile Dentists and the Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation Healthcare Initiative are partnering to provide a dental clinic featuring dental screenings, teeth cleaning and X-rays to uninsured music professionals in need. These treatments will be provided free of charge to pre-screened pre-approved applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Those wishing to take advantage of this service must be able to provide documentation of at least five years of work in the music industry. If professional music industry experience is less than five years, eligibility can also be determined through credited contribution to at least six commercially released recordings or videos (singles). On Oct. 17 MusiCares, in conjunction with Faith Family Medical Clinic, will be offering flu shots ($20), vitamin B-12 injections ($20), tetanus and diphtheria boosters ($40), and pneumonia vaccinations ($45) to music professionals and their friends and families from 2–5 p.m. at The Recording Academy Nashville Chapter office. Please note that any vaccine other than the flu will need to be requested ahead of time in order to ensure available quantities.
