Rogg maintains a private practice as a marriage and family therapist in Beverly Hills, Calif., and has facilitated recovery groups at treatment centers throughout Southern California. She has extensive experience with substance abuse as a professional and as someone who has overcome their own battle with addiction. In Waking Up Sober …, Rogg has compiled a collection of writings drawing from her experiences to offer inspiration and information for recovery and change. She does not shy away from difficult topics, tackling issues such as abuse, trauma, love, attachment, and suffering, all while shining a light on the things we tell ourselves and why we do what we do.
