MusiCares, in collaboration with the Detroit Federation of Musicians and Smiles Programs, will host a free dental clinic for music professionals. Participants must document at least five years of professional music career history and qualify through MusiCares. Eligible patients will receive a complete dental exam, bitewing X-rays and a dental cleaning free of charge. All appointments must be scheduled in advance. MusiCares, in partnership with Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center, will offer free custom earplugs to eligible music professionals during AmericanaFest in Nashville, Tenn. Molds for custom earplugs will be provided in the MusiCares exhibit hall booth at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown on Sept. 21 from 1–4 p.m. and Sept. 22 from 2–5 p.m., while supplies last.
