In celebration of World Voice Day 2013 MusiCares will present a free one-of-a-kind workshop for voice professionals in Southern California. Come prepared to learn about the inner-workings of your voice, plus discover what you can do to not only protect your instrument, but to realize its potential.
Topics will include:
The Anatomy Of The Singing Voice & When Vocal Injuries Occur: Prevention And Treatment presented by Dr. Reena Gupta, MD FACS, director, Voice and Swallowing Center, Osborne Head &Neck Institute
Pilates2Voice: Demystifying The Voice-Core Connection presented by Dr. Veera Asher, DMA, Pilates2Voice

Attendees will also have the first opportunity to register for free voice screenings and scopes to be conducted by Osborne Head & Neck Institute later in April. Further details will be available at the workshop. Space is limited. To RSVP, call 800.687.4227 or you can register online.
The workshop is free and open to singers, actors and other voice professionals, as well as guests. To qualify for a free vocal screening an individual must be a vocalist/musician with at least five years professional music career history, or at least six commercially released recording credits.
