MusiCares At EDC Orlando
This free seminar for visual and performing artists will give clear information about the options available on the Tennessee Health Insurance Marketplace. Co-sponsored by MusiCares and Music Health Alliance. This workshop will equip you with the tools needed to navigate the healthcare system as open enrollment begins on November 15.
Questions that will be addressed include:
- What are the new options?
- How much will it cost me?
- Am I eligible for a subsidy?
- Who is eligible for free insurance?
- How do I apply?
- Where do I get care if I can’t afford insurance?
Free Musician’s Health Clinic for uninsured or under-insured music professionals in need. Services will include a comprehensive physical exam, blood and laboratory tests and/or an examination related to a specific medical issue. These services will be provided free of charge to eligible applicants.

MusiCares will host a Safe Harbor Room for artists and crew in recovery at the 16th annual Latin GRAMMY Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The room offers fellowship, support and 12-step support meetings to anyone involved with the telecast including artists, staff and crew. MusiCares, in collaboration with Walk In Dental Clinic and Smiles Programs… The Mobile Dentists, will host a free dental clinic for music professionals*
Eligible patients will receive a complete dental exam, bitewing X-rays and a dental cleaning free of charge.

All appointments must be scheduled in advance. To qualify participants must document at least five years professional music career history.
