MusiCares, in conjunction with the Matthew Walker Comprehensive Medical Center, will offer complete dental cleanings, exams and X-rays to low-income music professionals in need of these services from Oct. 26 through Nov. 4. The treatments will be provided free of charge to pre-screened, pre-approved music professionals, upon establishing eligibility. Appointments will be assigned on a first come, first-served basis. Actors Fund of America has invited MusiCares to participate in a free Mammogram Clinic, to be held in the Mobile Mammography Van located outside the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic in New York City. The screenings will be provided free of charge to pre-approved music professionals who are underinsured or lack health insurance, or those over the age of 40 and who have not had a mammogram in more than one year. Join GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Robert Santelli as he interviews GRAMMY-winning musician Harry Connick Jr. and legendary industry executive Clive Davis at the GRAMMY Museum on Nov. 11.

Before an intimate audience of 200 at the Museum's Sound Stage, Connick and Davis will discuss their collaboration on Connick's new album Your Songs, which features new renditions of classic pop standards. After the interview, they will take questions from the audience and Connick will perform some of the album's tracks.

On Nov. 16 MusiCares, in conjunction with the Boston Musicians' Association AFM Local 9-535, will sponsor a free dental clinic for qualified Boston-area musicians and other music professionals.

Services will consist of a dental exam, basic teeth cleaning and polishing, and two bite-wing X-rays, with services provided by Smile Massachusetts-Mobile Dentists. Participants do not need to be union members to qualify, but should be with limited financial means and lacking dental insurance.
