MusiCares, with support from the Bohemian Foundation, will be a part of this year's Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest in historic downtown Fort Collins, Colo. MusiCares will be hosting a Safe Harbor Room featuring daily 12-step meetings throughout the weekend for artists, staff, crew, and backstage guests in recovery. MusiCares, in collaboration with Smiles … the mobile dentists, will sponsor a free dental clinic for music professionals in the Detroit area. Eligible music professionals will receive a complete dental exam, bitewing X-rays and dental cleaning free of charge. All appointments must be scheduled in advance. The clinic will be held during the Detroit Jazz Festival. To qualify, participants must document at least five years of professional experience in the music industry.
