In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, MusiCares is proud to offer free mammograms and clinical breast exams in Los Angeles to women in the music industry who are in need of these services. If you are 40 or older, uninsured or underinsured, and have not had a mammogram in more than one year, this opportunity is for you. This service will be provided free of charge to pre-screened pre-approved applicants on a first-come first-served basis. Those wishing to take advantage of this service must be able to provide documentation of their work in the music industry for at least five years. If professional music industry experience is less than five years, eligibility can also be determined through credited contribution to at least six commercially released recordings or videos (singles).
