As professionals in fields that work with individuals in addressing their personal ailments, disorders, struggles and conditions doing the right thing is not always simple. On an almost daily basis we must make decisions that will have an impact on the lives of our clients or patients. It’s impossible to know exactly what the best choice may be in a given situation, but we absolutely cannot afford to make a decision that could jeopardize our credentials, or even more importantly potentially harm the individual be served.
This six (6) hour workshop, hosted by MusiCares and taught by Evan Armani, CADCII, ICADC, LAADC-CA Founder of Living Free Recovery Companions and Coaches, will discuss several principles within the Code of Ethics from the California Consortium of Addiction Professionals and Programs (CCAPP) and the practical application of those principles. Additionally, the importance of managing compassion fatigue will be explored along with suggestions for maintaining wellness. Please join us for this dynamic and interactive ethics training workshop!
