VIDEO PREMIERE: Tiffany Bares Her Soul On "King Of Lies"
"I gave you all of my, all my soul and / I gave you all of my dreams. / But you didn't give a damn about me / You're not really quite what you seem," '80s pop icon Tiffany sings passionately on "King of Lies."
Below, watch the songstress' brand-new music video for the unplugged version of the powerful track, premiering exclusively here on GRAMMY.com. The visual is a behind-the-scenes look in the studio where Tiffany and her band recorded the track. The song is from her upcoming EP, Pieces of Me: Unplugged, due out this Fri., May 22.
"This song is one of my favorite songs to perform live. Acoustic or full band, this song has a punch to it," Tiffany told us over email. "Again, haven't we had a king of lies before in our life? The users, the liars, the people who take for granted your love."

The forthcoming album delivers powerhouse acoustic versions of four songs from 2018's Pieces of Me, with the idea being born from the stand-still the COVID-19 crisis has caused.
"When the coronavirus came upon the world, I was getting ready to set up the release of my forthcoming studio album, Shadows, and when we were stalled with the creative due to the pandemic, I felt like I wanted to give fans something more in between," the "All This Time" singer said in a statement.
"I wanted to show my fans and critics that my journey to Shadows was a continued inspiration of Pieces, but harder and more punk. This is a bridge to that heavier side of me, not to shock my fans."
Last week, she released the first video from Pieces of Me: Unplugged, for "Starting Over." The full EP will be available to stream on digital platforms on Fri., May 22.
Back in 1987, at just 15 years old, Tiffany broke onto the pop scene with a fabulously synth-y dance-pop cover of Tommy James and the Shondells' 1967 hit "I Think We're Alone Now." Last year, she celebrated her breakthrough hit with a rocked-up 2019 version of the track, bringing her current rock queen energy into the epic track.
