What could be more fun than hanging out in a beautiful park with Anderson .Paak, and hearing performances from Raphael Saadiq, Jhené Aiko, Isaiah Rashad, King, and Masego?

Anderson .Paak | The Come Down Gospel: Believe In Music™

For those in town on Dec. 2, .Paak made it all happen at McArthur Park in Los Angeles with his inaugural Paak House event, a community-organized afternoon that included not only performances but also food, games and giveaways. The event drew around 1,500 people.

Produced in partnership with his Brandon Anderson Foundation, which caters to underserved communities through financial literacy, music and spiritual wellness, the GRAMMY nominee said the Paak House event serves as a way to create safe places within the community for young people to hang out.

"With my Brandon Anderson Foundation, Paak House was the first initiative. I wanted to eventually have a spot where kids can go and be themselves. Learn about music, spiritual growth, good eating habits, kind of like the boys and girls club," .Paak told Billboard. "I wanted to do something that would kick this off so I wanted to team up with other organizations in the community and do it together for the first event with all of the awesome acts as well."

It's official. It's Christina Aguilera's world, we're all just living in it. Her highly anticipated eighth studio album Liberation is here.

On June 15 the GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter released the full studio album, her first since 2012's Lotus. Aptly titled Liberation, Aguilera sets herself free across the album's 15 tracks.

We already heard "Like I Do" with rapper GoldLink, "Accelerate" featuring Ty Dolla $ign and 2 Chainz and "Fall In Line" with none other than Demi Lovato. Now we also get to sink our teeth into tunes such as "Right Moves" with Keida and Shenseea, "Pipe" featuring rapper XNDA, "Dreamers," "Unless It's With You," "Deserve," and "Twice."

The album features songwriting and production from the likes of Kanye West, Julia Michaels, Justin Tratner, Anderson .Paak, and Che Pope, collaborations that have led Rolling Stone to hail the album, saying Xtina "flexes her diva power" while calling her "the leading voice in the 21st century's own class of pop divas." Was there ever any doubt?

"I'm a performer, that's who I am by nature," Aguilera told Paper about the album. "But I'm at the place, even musically, where it's a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty."

Cardi B; Drake; Kendrick Lamar with Jay Rock, Future and James Blake; Anderson .Paak; Travis Scott with Drake, Big Hawk and Swae Lee — who would you choose?

The musical messages in the 61st GRAMMY Awards Best Rap Performance category examine life from many angles. Cardi B's romantic warning "Be Careful" lets potential partners know their love should be consistent, or else.

Meanwhile, in "Nice For What," Drake doubts assurances of support once it's time to come through.

And the team of Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Future and James Blake brought us "King's Dead," urging that presumptuousness is not advisable and giving a shout-out to Marvel's Killmonger.

Finally, Anderson .Paak's "Bubblin" celebrates a fountain of cash and its implications for living, and Travis Scott, along with Drake, Big Hawk and Swae Lee, takes us into "Sicko Mode": another dimension of playing for keeps.

It's the end of an era. Vans Warped Tour will play the final show of its last full cross-country tour on Aug. 5 in West Palm Beach, Fla. For the many musicians and fans who came to call the summer festival home, however, Warped Tour is offering the chance for one final gift — the compilation album, The Final Hours.

Check Out Warped Tour 2018 Opening Day

The compilation, which will be offered as a limited-edition download, captures two songs from every band playing the final night of this year's Warped Tour. You'll get unforgettable performances to listen to on repeat from the likes of Wage War, We The Kings, Reel Big Fish, Doll Skin, Issues, As It Is, Ice Nine Kills, Kublai Khan, and Sense Fail, among others.

The collection is available for preorder now for a minimum donation of $20. All proceeds raised from album sales will go to Warped Tour Founder Kevin Lyman's new charitable enterprise, FEND, which raises awareness about opioid addiction. The Final Hours will be available for download within 12 hours of the tour's last note.

Each year, MTV's Music Video Awards recognizes one especially pioneering artist for their musical accomplishments with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. This year, that honoree is Jennifer Lopez.

In addition to a string of hits and an extensive filmography, JLo has earned two career Latin GRAMMY nominations and two GRAMMY nominations, including for Best Dance Recording for her hit "Let's Get Loud" at the 43rd GRAMMY Awards. The New York native most recently released the diamond-crusted track "Dinero" with DJ Khaled and Cardi B, which has been nominated for two VMAs this year.

The Video Vanguard Award has been given every year since the VMAs' inaugural awards presentation in 1984 when the award was shared by David Bowie, the Beatles and Richard Lester. Other past recipients include Janet Jackson, Madonna, Tom Petty, Britney Spears, LL Cool J, Rihanna, and most recently, Pink.

Lopez's appearance on the show will include an acceptance speech and performance — her first since 2001 — when the VMAs go live from Radio City Music Hall in New York Aug. 20.
