More Women To Rock GRAMMY Festival At Sea
GRAMMY-nominated artists Mindi Abair and Joan Osborne are the latest performers added to the lineup for the GRAMMY Festival at Sea: Women Who Rock, which will set sail Nov. 4–8, 2014, in conjunction with Norwegian Cruise Line, the official cruise line of The Recording Academy and the GRAMMY Awards. They join previously announced talent Shawn Colvin, Estelle, Skylar Grey, Emmylou Harris, Heart, and Indigo Girls, with more artists to be announced.
Sailing from Miami aboard the beautiful Norwegian Pearl, this inaugural GRAMMY Festival at Sea will offer guests the opportunity to celebrate GRAMMY-winning and/or -nominated women who rock, while sailing to Grand Bahama Island and Nassau, Bahamas.
Additionally, a GRAMMY Chapter Stage has been added to enhance the experience of this four-day music festival at sea. Featuring panel discussions and workshops with participating artists and other music professionals, the GRAMMY Chapter Stage will also spotlight emerging and established talent from each of The Recording Academy's 12 Chapter cities around the country. Selected by the Chapters to represent their respective regions, artists on the GRAMMY Chapter Stage will reflect a wealth of musically diverse styles, and all participating artists tie in to the "women who rock" theme.
With no shortage of music and live performances on board, guests should prepare to be floored by the towering vocals of these remarkably talented artists and can also look forward to other fun activities hosted by these chart-topping ladies, as well as one-of-a-kind opportunities to interact with the artists while sailing.
