Margo Price Announces Winter Tour, 'All American Made' Album
Nashville-based outlaw country singer/songwriter Margo Price announced plans for a new tour today in support of her forthcoming sophomore album All American Made.
This will be the singer's second album released through Jack White's venerable Third Man Records, and it arrives amidst tall expectations following the critical praise of her first record Midwest Farmer's Daughter.
Price's debut release climbed to No. 5 on the Billboard Folk Albums chart, and edged into the top 10 on the Top Country Albums chart. Price also told The Fader that Midwest Farmer's Daughter was recorded live in just three days. She also revealed that the mastering engineer accepted an I.O.U. in exchange for his work on the record, and Price and her husband sold their car and most of their possessions to fund the studio sessions.
"A Little Pain," the lead single from Price's forthcoming second album, serves as continued proof that the gamble was the right move to make.
Tickets for Price's Nowhere Fast 2018 Tour will go on sale starting Sept. 15 at 10 a.m., but fans who pre-order the record from Third Man before midnight on Sept. 10 will gain access to a special early bird ticket sale on Sept. 12.
