The bop queen takes home her first-ever GRAMMY win at the 62nd GRAMMY Awards

Lizzo won Best Traditional R&B Performance For "Jerome" at the 62nd GRAMMY Awards. This marks her first-ever GRAMMY win. Shortly after, she also took home Best Urban Contemporary Album for her major 2019 breakout album, Cuz I Love You. She was the most-nominated artist for the 62nd GRAMMYs, with eight nominations going into Music's Biggest Night. 

"Jerome" was featured on Lizzo's third studio album, Cuz I Love You, which included other standout tracks such as "Juice" and "Like A Girl." The track was produced with the rock band X Ambassadors.

The "Juice" singer bested fellow nominees BJ The Chicago Kid, India.Arie, Lucky Daye, PJ Morton featuring Jazmine Sullivan. In addition to taking home her first GRAMMYs, the singer/songwriter busted out her flute for a rousing opening performance of the show with a rendition of her tunes "Cuz I Love You" and "Truth Hurts."

Lizzo has won Best Urban Contemporary Album for Cuz I Love You (Deluxe) at the 62nd GRAMMY Awards.

Lizzo beat out fellow category nominees Steve Lacy (Apollo XXI), Georgia Anne Muldrow (Overload), NAO (Saturn) and Jessie Reyez (Being Human In Public).

Anderson .Paak beat out fellow category nominees BJ The Chicago Kid (1123), Lucky Daye (Painted), Ella Mai (Ella Mai) and PJ Morton (Paul).

Anderson .Paak, featuring André 3000, has won Best R&B Performance for "Come Home" at the 62nd GRAMMY Awards. 

"Honestly, I was sweating bullets," .Paak said after accepting his golden gramophone. "This could've went anywhere."

Anderson .Paak beat out fellow category nominees Daniel Caesar & Brandy ("Love Again"), H.E.R. featuring Bryson Tiller ("Could've Been"), Lizzo featuring Gucci Mane ("Exactly How I Feel") and Lucky Daye ("Roll Some Mo").

The "Make It Better" singer gave a shout-out to them all. "This is a win for R&B, we are just going to keep it at my house if you don't mind," he said. 

.Paak earned his first two career GRAMMY nominations for Best New Artist and Best Urban Contemporary Album for Malibu at the 59th GRAMMY Awards. That year he made his GRAMMY stage debut, performing a medley alongside A Tribe Called Quest, Consequence and Busta Rhymes.

The late L.A. legend earns his first GRAMMY win for Best Rap Performance at the 62nd GRAMMY Awards

Nipsey Hussle, Roddy Ricch and Hit-Boy win Best Rap Performance for "Racks In The Middle" at the 62nd GRAMMY Awards. This marks both Hussle and Ricch's first GRAMMY wins, which Hussle earns posthumously. It is producer Hit-Boy's second career GRAMMY.

In a moving, tearful moment, Hussle's family accepted his gramophone.

"Racks In The Middle" bested fellow nominees J. Cole, DaBaby, Dreamville with J.I.D., Bas, EARTHGANG, Young Nudy and Offset with Cardi B.
