Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, who recently won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Shallow" at the 61st GRAMMY Awards, performed a stunning, spare rendition of their ballad at the 2019 Academy Awards.

Wearing a black dress and a prominent neck jewel, Gaga played the piano while her acting counterpart sang across from her.

At the 2019 GRAMMY Awards, Gaga accepted the golden gramophone for the pair; marking her second win of the night and the first-ever win for actor Cooper. "Shallow" also won Best Song Written For Visual Media, and Gaga's "Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?)" snagged Best Pop Solo Performance.

Sneak Peek: Angela Aguilar ReImagines "Shallow"

The young GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY nominee has been a Gaga and A Star Is Born fan for a while now. In fact, right before the 61st GRAMMY Awards, the young ranchera singer told the Recording Academy how she hoped she'd run into the pop icon on Music's Biggest Night:

"I saw this movie called A Star Is Born where Lady Gaga performs, and that was one of the best things I've ever seen," she said at the time. "I haven't cried that much in a movie since, like, Bambi. I feel like if I see her I'm gonna kind of have like a starstruck moment. I never get starstruck  because I've been in the industry for so long, and I live in Los Angeles. It's everywhere. But with her I think I might get a little antsy."

Check out a special preview above, and be sure to catch Aguilar's full ReImagined performance on YouTube or our video page on Tuesday, July 23 at 10am PT / 1pm ET.

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Shallow" at the 61st GRAMMY Awards.

She also gave a dazzling performance of "Shallow" on the GRAMMY stage during the show.

Gaga accepted the GRAMMY for the pair and gave a powerful speech. The win marked her second of the night and the first-ever win for actor Cooper. "Shallow," which the duo sung together in A Star Is Born and is featured as a single from the film's soundtrack, also won Best Song Written For Visual Media. Gaga's "Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?)" snagged Best Pop Solo Performance.

During her emotional acceptance speech the star spoke to the importance of the mental health awareness.

"I'm so proud to be a part of a movie that adresses mental health issues, they're so important. And a lot of artists deal with that, and we gotta take care of each other. So if you see somebody that's hurting, don't look away. And if you're hurting, even though it might be hard, try to find that bravery within yourself to dive deep and go tell somebody," Gaga said.

Other Best Pop Duo/Group Performance nominees were Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato ("Fall In Line"), Backstreet Boys ("Don't Go Breaking My Heart"), Tony Bennett and Diana Krall ("'S Wonderful"), Maroon 5 and Cardi B ("Girls Like You"), Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton ("Say Something") and  Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey ("The Middle").

Gaga has earned nine GRAMMY wins and received 24 nominations to date times.

She won her first two GRAMMYs at the 52nd GRAMMY Awards for Best Dance Recording for "Poker Face" and Best Dance/Electronic Album for The Fame, her debut album. She also made her first GRAMMY stage performance that year, singing a medley that included her "Poker Face" and "Speechless" along with GRAMMY-winning icon Elton John's "Your Song," who joined her onstage for an unforgettable duet.

The impending release of A Star Is Born starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga has film buffs and music fans alike buzzing with anticipation. Now, the official trailer for the film has arrived, teasing Cooper and Gaga's on screen dynamic for the first time.

Cooper, who also directed the film, plays road-worn country singer Jackson Maine. He discovers an unknown singer named Ally (Gaga) as she's just about to give up on her dream of making it big as a star. The duo fall in love off-stage as Maine revives Ally's passion for the spotlight on stage, but as her career surges, their relationship can't escape the pitfalls of stardom.

The film marks Gaga's first leading role on the silver screen, and the trailer shows the GRAMMY-winning megastar in a new light. In the wake of the trailer's release, her loyal fans, the Little Monsters, took to Twitter to find inventive ways of expressing their excitement, including an elated retweet from GRAMMY nominee Katy Perry.

It’s a dream come true and an honor to be a part of this incredible movie. Bradley's ability as a director, actor and musician is astounding. It’s called “A Star Is Born,” and I’m beyond thrilled for you to meet Jack and Ally. #AStarIsBorn https://t.co/L1rIawrzJ4

The cast of Cooper's remake also features GRAMMY winner Dave Chappelle, plus seasoned actors Sam Elliott and Andrew Dice Clay. The original 1937 film starred Janet Gaynor and Fredric March. Two other remakes have been executed since, including the 1954 version starring GRAMMY winner Judy Garland and James Mason, and the 1976 version starring GRAMMY Winners Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. The 1976 film was a blockbuster, earning $80 million at the U.S. box office and yielding soundtrack that held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 for six weeks.

Gaga and Cooper co-wrote a number of the movie's original songs, and she also worked with Lukas Nelson, and GRAMMY winners Jason Isbell, Dave Cobb and Mark Ronson to craft songs for the film. Gaga reportedly insisted that the material be recorded live on set.

The newest version of A Star Is Born hits theatres October 5.

There's something special about stepping into a space where albums you love were made. When you walk into historic Lost Angeles recording studio The Village and admire the countless gold and platinum records lining the walls, it's impossible not to feel inspired as you imagine the massive talent and creativity that the cozy building has held since 1968. If you listen closely enough, you can almost hear Stevie Nicks' angelic voice floating from Studio D or Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg bringing G-funk to life in Studio A.
