K-Pop Band Seventeen Release Awaited Studio Single "Clap"
Seventeen are back! Ahead of their second album, Teen Age, the K-pop collective has released the single "Clap" to what is already millions of views.
As mentioned when "Pinwheel" dropped last month, their previous "Change Up" single presaged what was coming Nov. 6. Applause for "Clap" feels natural as they rely on such K-Pop staples as athletic dance, spirited fun and stylish aesthetic, including a strongly stated "cha-cha-cha-cha" lyric.
Billboard discussed the connections and evolution between Seventeen's previous releases and the performances by the band's well-defined, independently talented subunits. This blend between individuated identities and unified group expression has a wonderful charm, deepened by the range of developed personalities and talents in the band.
