Jackson Browne Announces Southeast U.S. Spring Tour
Singer/songwriter Jackson Browne, who exemplified laid-back California culture through the '70s and '80s with sensitive, literate hits including "Lawyers In Love" and "You're A Friend Of Mine," has announced 13 acoustic dates across the Southeastern States.
The tour kicks off in the spring with his first night in Durham, North Carolina on March 22 and wraps up on April 9 in Miami Beach, Fla. Browne previously announced four June dates at New York City's Beacon Theatre, appearing with special guest Lucius.
The first of Browne's many GRAMMY nominations were for his 1977 album Running On Empty, an uncanny tribute to life on the road. Tickets for his tour go on sale on Jan. 18 on the Jackson Browne website.
