Hunter Hayes Celebrates Boys & Girls Club Recording Studio
GRAMMY-nominated country singer/songwriter Hunter Hayes was on hand this week to give kids at the Boys & Girls Club in Nashville, Tenn., a real surprise: a newly renovated recording studio.
The studio includes instruments such as keyboards and a drum set and will provide students with the tools they need to give voice and sound to their creative ideas. The children personalized the space by leaving their handprints on the walls.
The reveal of the studio equipment is part of Lowe's Renovation Across the Nation program, which has committed $50,000 to 50 clubs around the country to provide safe after-school spaces for U.S. students, including this music studio in Nashville.
Hayes also treated the attendees to a short concert, and shared his excitement for the new opportunities the studio will provide the Boys & Girls Club.
"I love everything about this music studio project at Boys & Girls Clubs," Hayes said. "Studios are a safe place to be creative and a safe place to discover a lot about your passions, about music, about yourself as a human."
