GRAMMY Museum To Launch John Fogerty Exhibit Sept. 26
On Sept. 26 the GRAMMY Museum will launch John Fogerty: Wrote A Song For Everyone — a reflective exhibit named after Fogerty's latest album, Wrote A Song For Everyone, that will offer visitors a unique look at the music career of the GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter and guitarist.
On display through January 2014, artifacts featured in the exhibit will include Forgerty's personal scrapbook from his time with Creedence Clearwater Revival; his high school diploma and yearbook; the "Centerfield" baseball bat-shaped guitar played during his solo career; the dobro guitar featured on the cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival's 1969 album Green River; as well as costumes, posters, awards, personal correspondence, photographs, and tour ephemera, among other items.
In conjunction with the exhibit's launch, on Sept. 26 Fogerty will visit the GRAMMY Museum's Clive Davis Theater to participate in a question-and-answer session as part of the Museum's An Evening With series.
