Sales of iPhones reached 26.9 million, a 58 percent increase compared to the year-ago quarter, and iPad sales totaled 14 million, up 26 percent. Sales of 5.3 million iPods represented a 19 percent decline from the year-ago quarter. Additionally, on Oct. 23 Apple revealed the iPad mini, a thinner and lighter version of the iPad.
Steven Tyler: People Need To Make More Love
According to Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, the world would be a better place if people started having more love in an elevator … or anywhere for that matter. "What's missing in the world is that people don't get laid enough," the singer candidly revealed in an interview with the Guardian. "The world doesn't make enough love." Such comments should come as no surprise to music fans familiar with the frontman, who admitted that "Aerosmith was all about sex" in his 2011 autobiography, Does The Noise In My Head Bother You? Ahh, the sound of sweet emotion.
