Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" Back On Charts Thanks To Viral Skateboard Video On TikTok
Chances are you're hearing more of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" lately thanks to Nathan Apodaca, a man from Idaho who recorded himself skateboarding to the song while drinking from a big Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry juice bottle. Now the classic hit has re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time since 1977.
Billboard notes the song had its "best-ever" weekly performance in streaming and download sales totals on the week that ended on Oct. 8 amassing 13.4 million streams and 22,000 downloads. The song also entered Rolling Stone's Top 100 Song's Chart. It currently sits at No. 11.
"When I heard 'Dreams,' that's when I figured, 'OK, this is it," Apodaca, who has himself entered fame after his TikTok video went viral, told NPR of why he choice to ride to the song on his video.
