The Flaming Lips Celebrate 20th Anniversary Of 'The Soft Bulletin' With Mini U.K. Tour
The Flaming Lips have been releasing experimental rock albums at a steady pace since their debut, Hear It Is, in 1986 and show no signs of slowing down. Yesterday, the GRAMMY-winning group announced three shows to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their ninth album, 1999's The Soft Bulletin.

Loveably eccentric frontman Wayne Coyne and his motley crew will be performing the critically acclaimed album in its entirety for three nights across the U.K.: on Sept. 5 in Edinburgh, Scotland, Sept. 6 in Manchester, U.K. closing out at the Brixton Academy in London on Sept. 7.
The band's most recent studio album—their 14th—Oczy Mlody, was released back in January 2017. The follow-up, King's Mouth, will be released next month on Record Store Day, April 13.
Tickets for the three shows go on sale this Fri. March 8. For more info, visit the band's site.
