Today Insomniac, which hosts the now-global Electric Daisy Carnival and other major EDM events, announced the highly anticipated lineup for its flagship Las Vegas fest, set to take place May 17–19 this year. EDC 2019 is positively stacked, featuring GRAMMY winners Diplo, David Guetta and Tiësto, plus GRAMMY nominees TOKiMONSTA, Paul Oakenfold, Deadmau5, Above & Beyond and Kaskade.

Deadmau5 will be making his first return to the fest since 2010, bringing his new "Cube 3.0" stage setup, and Guetta will be back for his first time since the 2012 event. Australian singer/songwriter DJ/producer extraordinaire Alison Wonderland, plus GRAMMY-nominated rave icons Steve Aoki, Armin van Buuren will also bring fire to the three-day event.

Unlike a typical music festival lineup, EDC lists theirs alphabetically by day, giving way to a treasure hunt to the many gems across the lines of names. Underground techno queens Charlotte De Witte, ANNA and Amelie Lens will all perform at the event, which has eight(!) stages, along with fellow techno heavy-hitter Adam Beyer.

South African DJ/producer and underground house legend Black Coffee will also perform, as well as fellow house heavyweights Green Velvet, Patrick Topping and GRAMMY nominee Eric Prydz. Green Velvet will be offering two sets, one as Get Real, his project with Detroit legend Claude VonStroke.

Several artists will be hopping on the decks together, including Topping, who will be doing a B2B set (a.k.a. back-to-back, or collab set, for those not up on the rave lingo) with fellow British DJ Eats Everything. U.K. dubstep stalwarts Skream and Rusko are on the lineup for an "old skool dubstep set," which, as Your EDM put it, is "absolutely unheard of."

But wait, who are the headliners? Pasquale Rotella, CEO and co-founder of Insomniac, believes that headliners are everyone that attends the festival, spreads the love and makes all the magic possible.

"Being a Headliner means looking at the world a little differently, and seeing beauty and inspiration everywhere you look. It’s about lifting up the people around you and making time for your family and friends. This is a journey we all take together—always connected and committed to one another," Rotella said in a statement on Insomniac's website.

If you want to get your dance on and check out the carnival rides, interactive art and plenty of lights and lasers with EDC in Vegas, you're in luck; tickets are still available. Check out EDC's website for more info.

Today, Ultra Music Festival revealed more exciting details for its upcoming 2020 flagship Miami event: the phase one lineup for its darker house and techno RESISTANCE offerings. Longtime underground icon Carl Cox will be performing three times, including a first-time B3B set with The Martinez Brothers and Jamie Jones, as well a B2B with "Mutant Disco" king Maceo Plex; their first North American joint DJ set.

Drumcode founder Adam Beyer and Cirez D, the darker techno alias of Eric Prydz, are also slated to bring the B2B fire to RESISTANCE Miami 2020. Also on deck for collab sets are GRAMMY-winning house legend Dubfire, rising techno queen Nicole Moudaber and longtime Spanish club staple Paco Osuna. Another Spanish legend, Dennis Cruz will pair up with rising U.K. act Michael Bibi to represent European tech-house.

Techno heavy-hitters Richie Hawtin, Tale Of Us, Amelie Lens, ANNA and Pan-Pot will also bring their explosive, warehouse-filling DJ sets to RESISTANCE. On the more housey side of electronic music rainbow, the lineup features past GRAMMY-nominees CamelPhat, along with Ukranian duo ARTBAT, British pair Gorgon City, Manchester duo Solardo and Tunisia's Dice Corleone a.k.a. Loco Dice.

Previously announced Ultra Miami acts include Gesaffelstein, GRAMMY winners Flume and Zedd, past GRAMMY nominees Above & Beyond and Armin Van Buuren, and many more. Additional acts will continue to be revealed for both the main Ultra stages as well as RESISTANCE as the festival approaches, with a handful of major surprises being unleashed at the event itself (Swedish House Mafia famously surprise-reunited after a five-year break at Ultra 2018).

The 22nd edition of the beloved electronic music festival will return to its longtime home at Bayfront Park, after changing locations in 2019, March 20-22, 2020. This year's event saw a much-buzzed-about second iteration of RESISTANCE at the fest, after the Ultra united their growing house and techno offerings as RESISTANCE in 2018 and brought many of the DJs on this year's lineup to Ibiza and other hotspots over the past few years. (You can check out Maceo Plex and Carl Cox's epic 2018 RESISTANCE Ibiza B2B in the above video.)

Tickets for Ultra Miami are on sale now; visit their website for more info and the complete phase one lineup.

Global dancefloor heavy hitters Chris Lake, Nora en Pure and Patrick Topping fill the topline spots of The Palms stage, which explores all the rich textures and subgenres within house music. French chill house legends Télépopmusik, OVO R&B duo Majid Jordan, New York alt-electro band The Rapture, pioneering Belgian house act Soulwax—who are currently nominated for Best Remixed Recording at the GRAMMYs—and emerging Israeli techno Red Axes will also be bringing their live acts to the Ocean View stage.

As the press release says, "techno underneath an administrative building isn't something you'd typically imagine in America, but that's what the dramatic City Steps stage offers." In addition to Cox and de Witte, other heavyweights helping Make America Techno Again include Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, who will serve up a major B2B set, Berliner Ben Böhmer, who will showcase his emotive music with a live set.

The soon-to-be-open club inside the Palms has slated a range of artists for shows and longer residencies, including previously announced artists Cardi B, Kaskade and Skrillex

Spring is only a day away and whether or not your locale feels like it yet, the festival lineups, tour announcements and Las Vegas residency reveals have warmer days feeling oh-so-near.

Today, the new KAOS Dayclub & Nightclub inside the redesigned Palms Casino Resort continues to add to the excitement with more artists added for opening weekend (April 4–7) and beyond.

Latin urbano music heavy-hitters J Balvin, Ozuna and Bad Bunny, along with longstanding dance music kings Armin van Buuren, Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz add even more weight to an already stacked event calendar.

Previously announced artists for opening weekend include GRAMMY winners Cardi B, Skrillex and Kaskade, GRAMMY nominee Travis Scott, as well as Oakland, Calif. rapper G-Eazy.

KAOS officially kicks things off by opening their nightclub doors on Thurs., April 4 for the first installment of "F#%*IN' KAOS THURSDAYS" featuring EDM DJ/producer Marshmello. Both he and Kaskade have the most dates of any artist currently on the KAOS calendar, which has talent scheduled well into May. The weekly Thursday evening parties will feature rotating guests, which include Cardi B on April 18 and Bad Bunny on April 25, the only date slated for the Puerto Rican Latin trap star. Fellow Puerto Rican Ozuna also has one show listed, on April 28.

For most artists booked, the term "residency" is being used a bit loosely, with most artists only booked for one to three shows, although it is possible more dates could be added in the TBD slots and into the summer months. Cardi was among the first artists to be revealed with a residency at the new club, but only has two shows lined up, the Thursday party, as well as the previously announced opening weekend performance on Sat., April 6 with Balvin and G-Eazy. Latin GRAMMY winner Balvin has also had just one show added to the schedule, at the nightclub on April 26.

Deadmau5 marks his return to Vegas with dates at KAOS on April 14 and 20, which, as Rolling Stone points out, will be about four years since his 2015 residency at XS in the Wynn. Skrillex is currently set for one date during opening weekend, at night on April 5 with Travis Scott. Longstanding house, techno and laser show king Prydz is slated for three shows: April 13, 26 and May 11. Godfather Of Trance van Buuren also has three dates, May 16 and 17 during EDC Week and the following Sunday, May 26, for a day party.

Speaking of EDC, KAOS, as well as pretty much every club on and off the strip, has special events during the festival, taking place May 17–19 this year with a yet-to-be-dropped lineup. EDC Week always brings in big names in dance music, and is a festival megastar DJs like Deadmau5, Skrillex and van Buuren have played on multiple occasions in years past, so fans are hopeful for more dates from them

Regardless of the length of stay for each artist, it is clear that there are plenty of jams to be had at the new KAOS. The daytime space has a pool and thanks to a retractable dome and will "be the first Vegas megaclub to be built as a year-round venue," according to Las Vegas Weekly. The KAOs calendar reveals the pool will be open daily beginning April 9, operating as a dayclub with a featured artist on Fridays–Sundays, with the nightclub operating Thursdays–Saturdays, as well as some Sundays.

"We are incredibly proud to present the next generation of the Las Vegas nightclub and dayclub experience with programming that transcends so many genres of music," the General Manager of Palms Jon Gray said. "Every performance at KAOS will be unique to each artist with next-level production and unique technology that we cannot wait to share with our guests."

A true Las Vegas club wouldn't be complete without a plethora of VIP and bottle service options; visit the KAOS website for more info on all announced shows and ticket options.

The 10-year-old music and arts fest is beloved by electronic music kids the world over as well as fans of alternative, left-of-center music in general, with its eclectic lineup serving up healthy doses of jam bands, house favorites, bass heavyweights and other exciting electro-infused acts and surprises. The 2020 event will also feature Nigerian afrobeat musician (and past GRAMMY nominee) Femi Kuti with his band the Positive Force, trippy bass favorites The Glitch Mob and Justin Jay, who will be bringing his lively live band experience, Fantastic Voyage, to the fest.

Others bringing the vibey house beats include Moon Boots and Rodriquez Jr., each of whom will be performing live sets. Past GRAMMY nominee Elderbrook, as well as German underground legend Patrice Bäumel and RÜFÜS DU SOL-signee Willaris. K. Bass head favorites CloZee, Rusko and Cashmere Cat will bring the womp, while Gryffin, DJ Holographic and Mija will also keep the forest nymphs grooving to their genre-melting jams.

As for artists representing more alternative/electro-pop sounds, Empress Of, Holy Ghost!, The California Honeydrops, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Haiku Hands, have you covered.

As a press release explains, "Special sets and unique collaborations have contributed to the magic of Electric Forest over the past 10 years, and this year's event does not disappoint. EF2020 highlights include Turkuaz with Jerry Harrison & Adrian Belew of Talking Heads who will perform Remain in Light in honor of the album turning 40."

Electric Forest 2019 also took place over four days and saw ODESZA Kygo, Zeds Dead, Bassnectar and The String Cheese Incident—the latter two who return in 2020—headline.

The Loyalty ticket pre-sale launched today and runs until tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. ET, after which the general sale will launch, at 10 a.m. ET. Visit electricforestfestival.com for more info and the complete lineup announcement.
