Dolly Parton Town Hall Livestream To Open GRAMMY Museum Fashion Exhibit
On Feb. 4 at the GRAMMY Museum, Dolly Parton will debut her fashion exhibit "Diamond In A Rhinestone World: The Costumes Of Dolly Parton" with an exclusive and livestreamed Town Hall discussion moderated by Linda Perry. This is the first time in the U.S. that Parton's iconic stage costumes will be displayed outside of Dollywood as a collection.
This exhibit debut and discussion will be livestreamed on Billboard's Facebook Page. Parton and Perry are collaborators most recently on music for the Netflix film Dumplin'. Perry herself is nominated at this year's 61st GRAMMY Awards for Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical. Dolly Parton has won eight GRAMMY Awards and the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award. At the GRAMMY Museum's Clive Davis Theater, the two will explore the history behind the spectacular and memorable costumes.
The exhibit will be open until March 17. On Feb. 8, later in GRAMMY Week, Parton will be honored at the 2019 MusiCares Person of the Year gala and tribute concert.
