Dave Grohl, Rihanna Added To Lionel Richie MusiCares Tribute

GRAMMY winners Yolanda Adams, Dave Grohl and Rihanna and current GRAMMY nominees Leon Bridges, Ellie Goulding, Chris Stapleton, and Florence Welch have been added to the performance lineup for the 2016 MusiCares Person of the Year tribute concert honoring Lionel Richie on Feb. 13 in Los Angeles. Late night television personality Jimmy Kimmel will host the event.

Previously announced performers are GRAMMY winners Lenny Kravitz, Lady Antebellum John Legend, the Roots, Usher, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, and singer/songwriters Luke Bryan and Demi Lovato. Rickey Minor, current music director for "American Idol" and past two-time music director for the GRAMMY Awards, will serve as the gala's musical director.

Richie will be honored as the 2016 MusiCares Person of the Year in recognition of his significant creative achievements and career-spanning charitable contributions. Proceeds from the 26th annual benefit will provide essential support for MusiCares, which ensures music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical and personal need.

The MusiCares Person of the Year tribute ceremony is one of the most prestigious events held during GRAMMY Week. The celebration culminates with the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards at Staples Center on Monday, Feb. 15. The telecast will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Music's Biggest Night is only days ahead and set to include show-stopping and unforgettable GRAMMY Moments. The star-studded performance lineup for the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards promise something for all music fans — including a number of first-time GRAMMY performances, a satellite performance by the Broadway cast of "Hamilton," an experiential performance by Lady Gaga in honor of the late icon David Bowie, Adele's return to the GRAMMY stage, and the best in country, pop, rock, and hip-hop. Two-time GRAMMY winner LL Cool J returns as host for the fifth consecutive year and will be joined by a stellar lineup of presenters.

Ten-time GRAMMY winner and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Bob Dylan will perform with folk-rock band the Avett Brothers and current GRAMMY nominees Mumford & Sons in a special salute to acoustic music; and six-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Dr. Dre — in his first live television performance in more than a decade — will grace the GRAMMY stage for the first time, joining current 10-time nominee Eminem for a historic collaboration, along with Maroon 5 frontman and current GRAMMY nominee Adam Levine, at the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards.

GRAMMY winner and current four-time nominee Zac Brown, actor Eva Longoria, actor/singer Jennifer Lopez, GRAMMY and three-time Latin GRAMMY winner Ricky Martin, Green Bay Packers linebacker and Super Bowl XLV champion Clay Matthews, actor/singer and current nominee Matthew Morrison, television and radio host Ryan Seacrest, actor Jason Segel, three-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Keith Urban, and seven-time GRAMMY winner will.i.am have been added as presenters to the music industry's premier event.

Presenting the first GRAMMY Awards of the night in approximately 98 categories will be current nominees, including performance artist Laurie Anderson, pop singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles, electronic/dance music artist and remixer BT, actor/comedian Kathy Griffin, and Latin Jazz musician Wayne Wallace. The live stream of the Pre-Telecast will remain on GRAMMY.com as video on demand for 30 days following the event.

Stars To Join For Aretha Franklin Tribute

As a "valentine" and "get-well card" to Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award and GRAMMY Legend Award recipient Aretha Franklin, four-time GRAMMY winner Yolanda Adams, four-time GRAMMY winner and Latin GRAMMY winner Christina Aguilera, GRAMMY winner and Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson, country superstar Martina McBride, and current nominee Florence Welch will join together on the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards in celebration of the 18-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee's music and ongoing legacy. Franklin underwent surgery on Dec. 2, 2010, for an undisclosed ailment. She has since said she is in excellent health.

The special segment will feature individual and collective performances of some of the Queen of Soul's classic hits and will add to the stellar lineup for Music's Biggest Night.

Current nominee Esperanza Spalding will also perform in a special number with members of the GRAMMY Jazz Ensembles and GRAMMY Camp.
