The tour will include the band's biggest headlining U.S. show to date at Berkeley, Calif.'s Greek Theatre with support from Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Other dates will feature L.A. rock trio Cherry Glazerr in the opening slot. In partnership with PLUS1, CHVRCHES have pledged one dollar from every ticket sold to go to supporting Girls Rock Camps, supporting their efforts to empower girls, trans and gender-diverse young people through music education and mentorship.
As the follow up to 2015's Every Open Eye, Love Is Dead debuted on the Billboard Top Rock and Alternative charts at No. 1. The album boasts nine tracks co-produced by five-time GRAMMY-winner Greg Kurstin, who has worked with the likes of Adele, Sia and Kelly Clarkson.
Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, Feb. 1 via the band's website.
