The Chainsmokers, Duran Duran To Headline KAABOO Cayman In 2019
GRAMMY-winning groups the Chainsmokers and Duran Duran have been announced as headliners for the first ever edition of KAABOO Cayman Festival, set to take place Feb. 15–16, 2019, on Grand Cayman Island. The festival also announced additional acts including Zedd, Counting Crows, Blondie, Flo Rida, Sean Paul, Shaggy, Maren Morris, Bryan Adams, and Los Lobos.
“The lineup for Cayman was curated specifically with the KAABOO fan in mind,” says Jason Felts, chief brand officer of KAABOO and CEO of Virgin Produced, the entertainment arm of Richard Branson’s group of companies and producing partner of KAABOO. “Similar to our event in California, KAABOO Cayman will also include a combination of bucket list artists and today’s hitmakers. With both a local and tourist focus, KAABOO Cayman also would not have been complete without the islands sounds of Sean Paul, Shaggy, and Maxi Priest."
KAABOO Cayman will mark the festival's first edition outside of its original home in Del Mar, Calif., where it will return for its fourth annual festival Sept. 14–16 with headliners Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, Imagine Dragons, and Robert Plant.
Just last month, the festival announced additional 2019 expansion plans, revealing a deal with the Dallas Cowboys organization to bring KAABOO to Texas in May 2019.
Tickets for the two-day KAABOO Cayman Festival are currently available via the festival's website.
