BTS Break YouTube Premiere Record With Latest Video For "ON"
K-pop royalty BTS continue to raise the bar this week. The group's new video for "ON" obliterated YouTube's record for most views of a video premiere, thanks to the BTS army worldwide.
The second video for the single racked up 1.54 million concurrent viewers, which YouTube announced as a record-breaking premiere.

The video and song represent, “a symbolic representation of ‘ON’ to highlight a different charm of the multifaceted band," according to a statement from BTS' company Big Hit Entertainment. The song arrives on the group's latest release, Map Of The Soul: 7, which is already the best-selling album of the year worldwide of any genre.
"The genre is BTS. That's the genre we want to make and the music that we want. New genre," the group's Jungkook, V and J-Hope tod the Recording Academy in a recent interview.
