Björk Teases New Album, Calling It Her "Tinder Record"
Once again, Björk is back! Well, almost.
The Icelandic GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter announced last month that the follow-up to her GRAMMY-nominated 2015 album Vulnicura will be released this November. Her Vulnicura Live beatmaster Arca is bringing his remix-oriented innovations on board as co-producer.
Björk said in a statement, "Vulnicura was about a very personal loss, and I think this new album is about a love that's even greater. It's about rediscovering love — but in a spiritual way, for lack of a better word."
According to Pitchfork, the first single entitled "The Gate" will be released on September 18, followed by the album Björk self-described as her "Tinder record" (insert your own swipe reference here).
