Billie Eilish Delivers Touching Performance Of "Yesterday" At The 2020 Oscars
The five-time GRAMMY winner, joined by her brother/producer FINNEAS on the piano onstage, sang during the show's in memoriam section, which honored some of the creatives and industry figures the film world has lost recently, including Kobe Bryant, Kirk Douglas, Peter Fonda, John Witherspoon, Rip Torn and others.
The Oscar performance follows a massive night for Eilish at the 62nd GRAMMY Awards last month, when she and her brother took home the most golden gramophones of the night, with five wins each. Her debut album, 2019's When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, won Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, while album single "Bad Guy" won for Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year. Eilish also won for Best New Artist that night.
Her brother FINNEAS, who produced When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, won Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year for "Bad Guy," in addition to Album Of The Year and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical for his work on the album. He also won Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical.
